![]() Using OSX v.10.4.5 on a G5. Lime wire says it is connected, but yet searches yield no results:mad: It has been 2 weeks and No support ! No tunes! When you try to contact someone for help you see a screen that tell you how Limewire PRO is better than Limewire!!!! and prices. Very ready to demand money back!!! |
| |||
![]() I suspect you do not have a genuine version of Limewire, if I am reading your post correctly. The Basic version is free. The pro version costs US$18.88 and both are ONLY available at www.limewire.com see some of this link including Page 5 .... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=28751 This may or may not be the answer to your problem, but it is a good place to start. |

![]() $1.88 was what I paid for limewire pro. Are forums the "support for 6 mos." they are talking about with LWpro? Because other than this reply, I've seen no effort to fix this problem. When I first upgraded to PRO I posted problems but no solutions were to follow. |

![]() Ok.. I think I missunderstood ... I thought you had paid for basic and were getting asked to pay again for pro ... sorry about that. These forums are not the pro support. They are not officially connected to limewire, but some of the moderators work for Limewire and much of the help here is as good if not better than the official support. I notice that there was a constructive reply to your other thread and herein may well lie your solution. see http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...006#post199006 It is possible that your isp or some part of your system is blocking certain ports and if you do as was suggested this may cure your problem. If not give us some more details ..particularly of your connection , isp, router or modem and Firewalls and we will get you up and running. Alternatively go to http://sales.limewire.com/support/? Type in the e-mail address you used to purchase pro and you should be taken to a page saying "How can we help you today" If this does not happen please let us know what does happen ![]() |
