Quits unexpectedly at startup...
 

So I'm a brand new Mac user, and I recently installed LimeWire. I used it a few days in a row until today, when it started quitting right after starting up (a split second after asking if I want to upgrade to Pro), without any error message. I tried installing and still the problem persists. This might be a stupid question that just shows what a newbie I am with Macs, but is there any way to complete rid the system of LimeWire (an uninstall process) and start over? Any other things I can try to solve this problem?

my macbook pro has the exact same problem, does anybody know how that can be fixed? Even the new 4.12.3 doesnt work. When i try to start it up it opens until the "tip of the day appears" then it suddenly quits

Try deleting your LW preferences folder whilst LW is closed & found here: /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire

i tried that. I was able to reinstall the program but it still doesnt work. it still quits unexpectedly. this is pissing me off so bad. i need limewire!
