LW use diffrent servers? UK/USA etc?
 

i live in the UK. does LW connect me automaticaly to a UK server? or is it one biiiiiiiiiiiig server that accomidates millions of people no matter where they live/connect?


why i am asking. if we do connect to location spesific servers, can we change and pick diffrent servers?

LW does not connect to servers. It connects to ultrapeers which are other users. They may be local or elsewhere.

Following on from what LOTR has written, LW allows you to connect to millions of PC owners and users, like yourself, from around the world.

There is no central server, no UK or US server just PC users like you and me (and probably some weirdos as well) that use LW to share files. Please note, there are also some multi-PC and server owning enthusiasts that use LW as well but there is no central server to download from, only other LW/P2P users.
