when i click the app, it flashes in my dock for a few seconds, then disappears, i have run the java update suggested in the help pages with no difference. it used to work just fine, and im wondering if a software update caused this. i cannot afford to buy pro over again to try to fix this, what can i do?

i dumped the preference folder you mentioned. at launch....same problem, and it didnt even get as far as building a new preference folder. i would hate to go back to basic...if i update will it still remain pro?

im going to try to migrate the files to my 10.4.6 mac and see if that helps

ok i downloaded the new limewire hoping it would upgrade, instead it wiped out my pro version...it works now, but i didnt wish to lose pro...who can i contact about this?

but yes the 18+ is a huge amount for me as a disabled person with low income...i just dont like paying for the same thing twice, and wonder if anyone at limewire could help with this...i have the 4.8.1 installer package receipt, which wont install anything, saying it is missing its archive, but i suppose its proof that i did once buy it. and i dont know how to pm here
