![]() I am on a mac 10.2.8 with Quicktime version 6.5.3 which is the latest supported by my mac. I downloaded LW Basic but there was no installer and when I double clicked on what appeared (LimewireSoftOSX) it simply said that this was not a file Q'time understood. I have scoured the FAQs and the forums about bugs with the latest version of Q'time (7.0.4) but cannot find a similar case to mine. Any advice would be most welcome. |

![]() Did you see this sticky thread: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=49809 First check this. I am not sure when the Safari Browser was introduced, Nor am I very good on 10.2.8, but if you downloaded using Internet Explorer something like this might happen on later OSX versions. Safari Opera and Firefox will download the file properly, and it should be a dmg file. so try a change in browser if applicable. |
