Some songs don't load into iTunes
 

Hi,
i have an iMac with OS X Tiger installed. I noticed today that about half the files I downloaded went to the LW folder. The remaining files are stuck in a "shared" folder and I can't move them anywhere.

Please help!

What do you mean stuck in a shared folder?

Do you have auto import turned on in LW's prefs for iTunes? Sometimes if LW becomes too busy (usually happens on long sessions), then iTunes stops importing the songs. Answer is to restart both.

iTunes will not re-import songs that are totally identical in all aspects of name, size, id3 tag, etc.

On the left side of iTunes there is a list: Library, Store, Shared, Playlists (where LW appears and most songs end up here). I don't know if I'm explaining it right. Also, I have the lasted update of iTunes.

BTW go to LW's prefs (keyboard shortcut is ⌘ ,) & click on iTunes>importing & make sure iTunes importing is enabled. If you don't like the LW playlist that appears, then go to LW Prefs>iTunes>Sharing & disable option.
