Can't Find Lime Wire Pro
 

I paid for Lime Wire Pro and downloaded it. But everytime I log on it gives me the regular version. I can't seem to find the LW Pro and have downloaded it twice. Now I have two LW's on my computer and don't know how to get rid of them. I only want the LW pro I paid for. Please help. I am using an OSX system.

Where did you buy Pro from & how much did you pay for it? LW basic is free & Pro costs $18.88 USD for 6 months of updates & email support.
The only official site for downloading either version is www.limewire.com

When you buy Pro from the official site, you'll recieve an email with a link to your Pro personal download page & you can download from there.
If you bought from a scam site, please contact your bank/CC company & report this...ask them to cancel the transaction.

Cant find Lime Wire Pro
 

I definately bought from the Lime Wire site. They sent me a link after I paid for it so that I could download it. The strange thing that I didnt mention is that I had it for a week or so but when I went back on one day it came up as the regular Lime Wire so I am stumped

If you got Pro from the official site, that's fine! Check the thread below for more help...you should probably send a PM to limenathan (you'll find a link for PMing him) & he can sort things out for you:D
Problems getting your LimeWire Pro after payment or other Pro payment issues etc

It might be worth checking if you are opening the correct programme. If you have an alias on your desk top created when you installed the "pro" version, and an icon in the dock, the dock icon will most likely open the Basic version.

I always delete the desktop aliases, and have run into this problem, trying to use the dock icon on an old version.

Open each programme by double clicking on the app in the applications folder. .. just to make sure what you have. If you don't want one version simply drag it to the trash.

I usually keep archived copies of old installers or programmes " just in case"
