Keith- Thanks again. I just noticed your new thread on the OSX version, and I responded over there. The LimeWire download page does actually list the most recent version down towards the bottom. We sometimes do not update the images on our site for minor releases, although I can definitely see how this would get annoying. Within the app itself, you can see the version number if you go to the Help>>About window. There should be some nice improvements in the next OSX version, like using the correct menu bar, some performance improvements, etc. |

Not annoying as such, more just confusing! Thanks for the tips on spotting version details. Anything that could help users spot this stuff without causing maintenance hassles in LimeWire HQ would be handy. It'll be good to see those menu bar improvements in future versions - I'd assumed it was difficult due to the Java-based development process. It'll be good to have a version that feels more like a regular Mac OS citizen! Keith MacUser technical editor |

We're definitely going to make progress in terms of adherence to the general OSX look and feel. It's not really hard to do in Java -- it's more a matter of it being tricky to find good documentation. I've finally got it ready now though. We will also conform to the "About LimeWire..." standard for our next release, so you'll be able to find the version info in the standard way. |
