We're definitely going to make progress in terms of adherence to the general OSX look and feel. It's not really hard to do in Java -- it's more a matter of it being tricky to find good documentation. I've finally got it ready now though. We will also conform to the "About LimeWire..." standard for our next release, so you'll be able to find the version info in the standard way.
