![]() Mac G4 running 10.1.2 and 9.2.2 in same partition. DSL connection through home ethernet network. Installed Limewire ver 2.0 on the OSX side. Connections will only be made to a single host with the "Ultrapeer" protocol noted. Connect on startup - selected Quickconnect - the five standard hosts Speed - Cable/DSL Ultrapeer - have tried this checked and unchecked but unchecking seems to have no effect, still connects to a single host noting Ultrapeer protocol. Experienced Limewire user, previous versions typically connect to terabytes of data, under this version I'm looking at tens of megabytes. |

![]() I am having the same exact problem...I even bought and downloaded the "pro" version hoping that this would correct the problem...no go. I suspect that this problem is related to the fact that LimeWire for OSX seems to be unable to "remember" preferences, although this bug seems to have gotten a bit better. Does anybody know how to force the retention of prefs? Or perhaps there is a way to edit them outside of the LimeWire interface? |
