Stuck in One Host Ultrapeer

Mac G4 running 10.1.2 and 9.2.2 in same partition. DSL connection through home ethernet network.

Installed Limewire ver 2.0 on the OSX side. Connections will only be made to a single host with the "Ultrapeer" protocol noted.

Connect on startup - selected
Quickconnect - the five standard hosts
Speed - Cable/DSL
Ultrapeer - have tried this checked and unchecked but unchecking seems to have no effect, still connects to a single host noting Ultrapeer protocol.

Experienced Limewire user, previous versions typically connect to terabytes of data, under this version I'm looking at tens of megabytes.

Stuck on Untrapeer

I am having the same exact problem...I even bought and downloaded the "pro" version hoping that this would correct the problem...no go.

I suspect that this problem is related to the fact that LimeWire for OSX seems to be unable to "remember" preferences, although this bug seems to have gotten a bit better.

Does anybody know how to force the retention of prefs? Or perhaps there is a way to edit them outside of the LimeWire interface?
