Version 2.0 vs. 1.8 on OS X
 

I don't know about anyone else but I went back to version 1.8 after observing the dismal search results on vs. 2.0 for a couple of days. For example: vs. 2.0 found zero hits for "All Things Must Pass" where vs. 1.8 found 86; vs. 1.0 found 34 hits on a seach for "sit" where vs. 1.8 found 407. No comparison. The ultrapeer may be better but something is flawed in the implementation somewhere. I am running a dual 800 G4 with broadband access. 1.8 smokes-2.0 ? something seems wrong???

two test searches for adio and video gave the following for 2.0/1.8:

B**tles= 185/424
****=1717/1985,

Perhaps they are linking to different hosts. sometimes 1.9 works beter than 1.8, but i usually fall back to 1.8

the last two days, it seems like everything i strart to download drops off. 1 in 10-15 work

I get no response whatsoever searching ANYTHING!

I have the same config DP800/Dual Boot 9.2.2 or 10.1.2...the 9.2.2 works fine and I have no problems....this version for OS X is NOT WORKING!!!!

Does anyone else have a connection problem? Since yesterday I haven't been able to connect, I always keep the little red button on, never green. I thought there was a problem with the system, so I went to the website (I had 1.7 and the help links never worked). There I discovered v2.0, which I downloaded. It seems nice but it didn't connect either. At least the help links worked, that's where I discovered these forums, where I read about everyone else's problems. But most people comlain about not enough hits, not about not getting connected. Everything worked just fine (well, fine enough, I've gotten all the songs I wanted over the past few months) until yesterday. What am I doing wrong? Help, I need my limewire back!!!

OSX, imac, 56k modem, no firewalls, limewire v2.0.2, and yes, I am connected to the net.......
