Library vs. HardDrive Folder

I copied my saved videos from one external HD (120) to another external HD (160). Now, all 400+ files are back in my LW Library. Previously, they would clear out once I did the 'Explore' command and moved them into the HD folder.

I use Mac 10.2.8 and LW 4.12.6

Do I have to 'Explore' and now move these files to HD 160 to get them to disappear from the LW Library? The LW to HD160 link is there because when I erased a file from the LW Library, it erased from the HD160 folder too.

What don't I understand about the Save Folder path in LW Preferences so I don't have to go thru this again when I upgrade my computer (soon).
