Limewire starts, then shuts down
 

Whenever I start Limewire it seems to start fine, but after the promotion to upgrade to Limewire Pro, it just quits out. I've tried reinstalling it multiple times, and re-downloaded it multiple times. It actually started for a month, but then it stopped working, and now i can't get it started again.

Close LW & delete your LW prefs folder found here: /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire

Also do maintenance. Do a safe boot & repair permissions. SAFE Boot & Repair Permissions

If still problems, go to apple's site & find the most recent Java version & reinstall .. but only the Offline installer ... don't install online; over the internet.
