Will Pro effect 56K modem dialup use?
 

If there can be any significant improvement from upgrading to Pro for dialup use, please let me know.

Sorry, but no. The main advantages of Pro are:

1. The possibility of faster d/loads. Unless you have a super fast connection you won't notice much of a difference, Basic can max out most peoples d/load capabilities.

2. Better search results are possible due to connecting to more sources. The difference is subtle but if your looking for rare files it may help.

3. Donation to the cause. Buying Pro helps support the developement of limewire.
