![]() I just updated to 4.12-- was using the previous version for YEARS with no problems at all ! Now, when I load LW and attempt to search, the results tab is "spotty" and unviewable. If I click on the results screen the list will appear in fragments but it comes in and out of view and I cant close any of the tabs at all. I am able to download files but its nearly impossible to view my search and once I have opened a new search, I cant close it, nor can I select another tab. I tried to uninstall the entire program and start over but when I attempt to trash the files from my harddrive it says "this item cannot be removed as it is owned by the root" Ive tried what I found suggested here including resetting my preferences, router and rebooting several times. HELP! MacOSX.2.6 LW 4.12 |

![]() Try updating your system to 10.2.8 after doing a Safe Boot http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107393 You may also want to Repair Permissions http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106712 |

![]() NOTE: I just tried changing skins and it is working a little better. the OSX skin seems to be totally incompatible with my system. The "metal" skin is viewable although it still trips up. I still wish I could go back to the previous version of LW! It worked seamlessly and now its slow and frustrating! |
