![]() I have a Mac Intel Mini and am running OX 10.4.9 I've been using Limewire basic perfectly until yesterday. It is giving me a Icon on the lower left saying that "Limewire has detected a firewall". I have tried everything and as far as I know I do not have a firewall set up at home. I have read some instructions to by pass this problem but no luck, Anyone has or had this problem and what is the solution. Thanks very much. Hector |

![]() The firewall icon also shows when a router (or some other upstream equipment) is blocking connections, or when LW isn't yet connected. Do you connect directly to the net, or are you connected through an Airport or some other such router? |

![]() maciasnyc -- try disconnecting and reconnecting using LW's File menu. Then, view the Connections Tab (View Menu->Show/Hide->Connections) Any 204.11.219.* hosts there? lululala -- USB modems have had problems. Unplug it, wait a bit, then turn it on again. |

![]() Hey Stief... I tried doing your info and for some odd reason the Connections portion in the view menu is grayed out. What I actually did before all of this was actually throw away my previous LW and then I downloaded LW again. No luck with that. I could not tell if there was a 204.11.219 host. |
