![]() I have a connection with 4 MB for downloads and before I've installed the last version, I used to have downloads around 100 Kb/s and 200Kb/s and now I'm experiencing not more then 5 or 9 Kb/s. By the way, I always used Mac, and I'm running with Mac OS X 10.3.9. |

![]() System details - help us to help you (click on blue link) Try an experiment by downloading a magnet link & tell us what happens re: speed & connection: + MagnetMix.com +: The Source for Good Content Remember that ISP's quote speeds in kbps (kilobits per second) whereas LW uses KB/s (KiloBytes per second) & 8 bits = 1 Byte. Also depending upon how far from the ISP you are there will be overhead losses in transmission speed such as line speed losses. Overall, you may lose 5-25% of speed quoted by ISP. Best test is to do a speed test using a browser with only your browser open. |
