update to latest version -- problems

I updated to the latest version of LimeWire (basic) -- now nothing appears in after running a search. what has the updater broken? and how can I fix it? and/or where can I download the previous version that worked fine?

Macintosh G4 MDD / 768MB RAM / 31 GB available space on HD / OSX v. 10.3.9

limewire 4.12.11
Java 1.4.2

Unfortunately, OSX 10.3.9 (Panther) only supports Java 1.4.2, but the newer version LW's require a minimum of Java 1.5

If you need a version of LW that works fine, let me know. I think at least LW 4.12.6 works fine with panther. I know because I sent a copy to another panther user.
