"Shared(3)" files I can't open
 

Hi,
I'm not very knowledgeable about Limewire though I've been using it for some time.
Just today "shared" files began showing up in my download window (and hard drive), some say "Shared(3)" or "Shared(9)". They're white/blank and I can't open them. Their individual sizes match the files that I'd intended to download but I can't access the original files. Please help. What are these blank/shared files and what should I do to get the files I was downloading?

I'm on a mac. PPC OS X 10.4.9

Very odd !!! Never heard of that before. My best guess is you changed your download location & your incomplete files are being sent over the place.

Any changes you made to settings recently?

yea...

.. anyway I dumped those files. It hasn't recurred
