![]() That's OSX's lovely Java at work. Try running LW initially with no other applications running. If the same thing, then try setting up a new account & see if you have same problems running from there. See http://www.gnutellaforums.com/272944-post4.html about setting up new account. |

![]() Hey, thanks for the incredibly useful link (and reply itself). Limewire works fine under the newly-created account. So.... how do I go about getting it to work in mine? Is it Terminal work? That I can do if you can walk me through it. Something like Disk Utility (booted from install disk or not) would be cake, but something Terminal (foreboding double meaning...) or deeper I'd be afraid to tackle alone. Thanks for the help. |

![]() Here's a couple of things to try first: 1. Do a safe boot & repair permissions; SAFE Boot & Repair Permissions 2. Delete the LW prefs folder found here: /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire |
