1 Attachment(s) Is it you cannot connect? Is your LW or router port forwarded? Before you forwarded a port in the router did you set up a static ip first? If not done first, the process won't work & you would need to delete the previous pf rule & repeat process. Static ip instructions for OSX 10.4 I am aware some apartment complexes have their own internet controls & firewalls. After verifying your port forwarding above is correct: 1. After updating to the new version of LW, it's best to delete the previous LW preferences folder; Deleting LW Preferences folder in OSX (make sure LW is CLOSED at that time, also make a note of all important settings.) 2. If LW still won't connect, try options here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html 3. Another option is installing FrostWire & if it connects, then close it. Then try re-opening LW. The performance options can be temporarily disabled as described in the link in point 2 above: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/attach...ce-options.gif |
