1. I don't think the junk filter was introduced until LW 4.9.39 or later. The junk button is normally found at bottom right of search results. 2. This has been a long term program. Only with the newest version LW's of past month or two have they fixed that problem where now you have option of which ip's to ban. * Sorry for the late reply. |

Mmmm... Now I have a new problem ! I had to uninstall LW 4.9.33 before (App., LW prefs., Receipts) because LW installer refuse to maket the install. Since LWd oesn' t want connect: it remains at one bar indefinitely. Is the same Mac as before of course and I didn't change any setting... You may see my setting here LW/Firewall Config. Mac Sharing/Firewall Am using OS X10.3.9 with Java 1.4.2_12, no Proxy. |

Try turning the OSX firewall off momentarily to see if it makes a difference (before you open LW.) Many osx users don't use their firewall, not suggesting you shouldn't. But it may be the issue. You may need to make another setting for port 16952 for Gnutella. To be specific, add it to the present gnutella setting by selecting it, editing it, put a comma & then space after 6346 & then add the other port 16952. eg: 6346, 16952 |

Yes .. I was refering to System prefs > OSX firewall sorry. The image you showed of your LW prefs already shows that port being the one LW is listening through. But then if using UPnP, that listening port may in fact change from one occasion you open LW to the next. Better check on that. What brand & model of modem/router are you using? Perhaps it does not have UPnP ability or it's implementation is poor. |
