Connecting... I am not sure why, but I look for a file that has over 100 sources -- yet when I try to connect, no matter how many times (or) how long I stick with it I inevitably get the "Need More Sources" message! I am so frustrated. Can anyone tell me how this is... I am on a dual/quad xeon mac with 16 gb ram and hooked to a 10 terabyte xraid (via fiber). I have my port open on the firewall and I am sharing over 1000 files on a full T1; I am the only computer on the network (well I have several computers on the network -- but I am the only user). ...a little help? |
I'm not a Mac user, but it sounds as though you're seeing fake files. These will sit connecting for ages & then need sources forever! Stay away from files with a huge number of sources...try a file with 10 sources or less, or a modem source.
