no firewall

last week or so i havnt been able to get past "starting connection" i deleted LW, got rid of all related files/prefs etc. re-installed it, re-set all app prefs..
it worked for a day then went back to "starting connection!

I have the same issue and after following all the instructions in other posts, nothing!
Does any one have an idea what up?
specs:
LW: 4.14.10 pro
OSX.4.10
Power PC G4 733 MHz
1GB memory
no firewall on (but LW says I am behind one. Provider does not block peer-peer conn.)
ISP: Time Warner
