limewire 1.14.8/mac os x freezes system-help
 

Can anyone help me ..
All the postings are old. Help .. Limewire 4.14.8 / java 1.5, on a macbook pro OS X freezes or general search like"DVD Movie" also freezes system, only a hard boot unfreezes it. It appears that only certain versions work on the Mac? if so can one unistall and load an older version? which one? Is it justa setting issue in preferences in Limewire? HELP PLS

macbookpro ... how much ram & spare hard disk drive space on your system drive?

You can uninstall & install an earlier version. Just drag & drop program to trash. If problems see Receipts folder sample image

You could also try one of the nightly versions here LimeWire cvs builds (4.13.4jum490) but these are CVS unofficial beta versions.
