![]() How do I remove someone elses limewire songs in a shared folder on my itunes? I have a mac with mac OSX. I don't have limewire anymore. If i turn off Sharing -- it is still there if I turn sharing back on. How do I completely delete these files??? Help! Thanks so much! ![]() |

![]() You can't delete them (they are actually on the other person's computer). Check your iTunes preferences to see if you can stop iTunes looking for other's shared music, or just try dragging their icon off your iTunes list. |

![]() I did "hide" the shared files but they are still there - if I open the shared files this limewire file opens. I can't delete or move the icon or folder they are in. How can they download without being connected to internet or having limewire running? Wierd. |

![]() Yes. Look for Shared itunes is unchecked. And, the files are not showing in my itunes anymore. But... they are just hidden files. Right? The files are still on my computer. Where do they load from? And, there is no way to get rid of these files? |

![]() They are not on your computer. iTunes listens for other computers who share their iTunes. iPhoto does the same. So, if I want my family to listen to my tunes, or look at my pics, I turn on the sharing. They can't download or delete those files (they're on my machine), but they can listen to/watch them (if they have their machines set to "Look for shared libraries.")
