![]() Just downloaded the LW without a problem. WHen I click on Search- I get the "LW is currently connecting to network. Your search may not return results until you are fully connected to the network." So I think this is a connection problem- I am using OSX 10.4.11 DSL connection with a router 10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there?------NOTHING HAPPENS- blank page and then safari couldn't find address So I've spent 3 hours reading threads and supports- I think I need to set the TCP and UDP numbers- It says this in the support topic - but it doesn't tell me where to find the numbers to put in these boxes!!!!! I noticed this same problem happened to others but I couldn't find a solution posted anywhere---- PLEASE HELP! |

![]() Don't worry about the TCP or UDP numbers just yet (6346 is the usual port number) Try that link again, just in case it is temporarily down (I just tried and it worked). If it doesn't, then the problem is likely within the router, or else the DSL company is preventing connections to the gnutella network (fairly rare: call and ask the help desk to find out). Also, do you connect to the router with a wire, or wireless? |
