![]() I just recently switched to Mac and have a MacBook Pro with the Intel processor. I downloaded and installed Limewire and was on the phone with Apple for HOURS configuring the airport extreme base station and the Leopard firewall. Also checked with my ISP and no firewall there. Still can not connect to Limewire. The icon on the bottom of the screen shows the brick wall saying that I am behind a firewall and the status bar has one bar lit saying that I am not connected to the Limewire network. Has anyone else had this problem or have a solution for me. I would appreciate it. Thanks. |

![]() The firewall icon will show by default until you are connected. First time users can have trouble connecting if the network is pretty busy. Try finding and replacing the "gnutella.net" file (list of possible connections), as in this post LimeWire Forums |
