can't get limewire on mac os x 10.4...java 1.5 needed

Hey, I have limewire and can't get it to work on my mac os x 10.4. I have java 1.4.2 and I need 1.5. I'm having a hard time getting it , downloading it isn't working and I just blew $21.95 on nothing...

Anyone out there to help me?? thanks much guys
