![]() let's try it in english... I have a little problem since i've installed de latest Leopard update. Before the update, I was using Leopard 10.5.1 and LimeWire Pro 4.12.6. LimeWire shows files with rankings (stars) and files without rankings. (unwanten/undesirable files ??, is this the good translation?) Because of a few problems in Leopard, I did a clean installation of Leopard, installed the latest update 10.5.2, and the same LimeWire Pro 4.12.6. I noticed there were no bad or unwanted files, only good files with a ranking/stars. I've checked all the preferences, and set the option for the unwanted files. I also replaced the new prefs files with the old prefs from the backup. Same problem. I've installed the latest LW Pro version (4.16.6), but same problem. This is not a major problem, Limewire works excellent! Although it's a bit strange. Why can't I see those bad/unwanted files? Does anyone have any idea why this happens? (sorry for the bad translation) Thx. |

In the past I had a few files with stars, and much more files without stars. Sometimes I could find good things amoung the bad files. You think the reason I'm not seeing files without stars/rangkings anymore, is a java issue? Are you familiar with the Mac OS X? How can I change or update Java? (sorry for the bad translation) |

![]() The OSX update you did may have fixed that issue, it may have included a java update or your clean install may have fixed a java issue. ![]() The stars don't necesarily mean good or bad files .. just your chances of successfully downloading them. ![]() |

![]() ok, that's clear to me. One more thing...last question... Do I see less or an equal quantity of files now? I have the feeling it's equal... One remark : I think Limewire became much more faster, faster in startup (finding network), and faster finding files over the internet... I think it has something to do with the last update 10.5.2. Very good! ![]() |

![]() It sounds to me that your Java or the earlier java was not 100%, & after the update of OSX it also updated java with an improved version. ![]() The fact you didn't see stars listed beside search results before suggests something was wrong. |
