Exclamation Shared Limewire Folder in iTunes has problems.

Okay so, you know how you can go to limewire - prefrences - itunes - sharing and then have it so you have a shared folder in itunes?

Well, when I select this option a shared folder opens on itunes but if I click on it, It'll act as if it's connecting then an error message will pop up saying "The shared library "[library name here]" is not responding. (-3259) Check that any firewall software running on either the shared computer or this computer has been set to allow communication on port 5215."

So what do I do?

Not sure about this one. Is your firewall on? Has iTunes look for shares music option been enabled (not that this should make a difference)?
Are you running iTunes and LW download folder from same disk and computer? Check disk permissions.

Try disabling the option in LW and re-enabling it. But make sure iTunes is closed at that time.

Default So,

Yeah, I tried enabling and disabaling it again.
And yes, the iTunes and sharing folder are on the same computer.
This is so annoying.
I've had to re-do my itunes library a few times not trying to fix the problem. really don't know what to do anymore.

Which OSX version are you running and what model of Mac computer?
Is the computer networked? Is the firewall on? Where is your iTunes Music Folder? (is it in your personal user account or elsewhere?)
