Firewall And Connection On Mac Os X Leopard I need some help. Since I upgraded to Limewire 4.16 pro, I cannot connect due to a firewall warning. Acctually Limewire has always worked fine, but after also upgraded my mac to Leopard, I have no more on System Preferences, sharing, a small window where I could change the firewall settings. Now it seems to be automatic. I need help, because I have been not capable to use Limewire. I looked for everywhere and I could not get through it. Thanks for any help. Mario |

Hello. Ia have the same problem. Currently have lime wire 4.16.6 Mac OS X 10.5.2 I've searched all over the forum and seen suggestions for MacOSX 10.4.... but the firewall setting have changed in 10.5... 1) I did have them on before... but now I turned them of by going to: System Preferences > Security > Firewall I'm using the radio button for Allow all incoming connections In Limewire I get the brick wall icons (meaning it detects a firewall) I've also tried replacing the gnutella.net file LimeWire Forums But still no luck.... Anything else I should try? Thanks alll, |
