I have been downloading a couple of large files and it was doing really good but then just dropped off at 0kb/s. It is not due to IP shaping or bad hosts. It only downloads fast for a few seconds after each start of limewire, witch is impractical. I tried reinstalling limewire 4.16.6; didn't help. is there a permanent fix?
