![]() 1. Go to your Mac OSX drive, open it up. Open Library folder, then Receipts folder, find Install LimeWire.pkg & trash it. Example of where to find it here: Receipts folder sample image 2. Find LW 4.18 here: Older Versions for LimeWire & download the version for OSX 10.4 ![]() ![]() (b) I gave the direct link above, but normally you will find the 'Older Versions' link on the right-side of the normal LW download page. It's on the left-side of the page for Pro users' personal download page. ![]() . Last edited by Lord of the Rings; February 7th, 2009 at 02:23 PM. |

![]() Hi Lord of the Rings, thanks for the reply. I did step a) and b) alright - but when I downloaded (I had Pro by the way) the older version of Limewire, it downloads to desktop and when you double click on the folder it does not open the usual install window with the drop to Applications illustration. Just a folder full of stuff -50 or 60 items - I don't understand ![]() Help please (again! ![]() Sandra |

![]() Finish? don't think it did - I had 4.18 PRO saw there was an update but didn't read the thing properly about JAVA and OS X Tiger so downloaded 5.11 and was left with nothing. Now, I did what you told me and the Limewire I have now, 4.18 is basic not Pro - can I get Pro back? without paying again that it...? |

![]() When did you purchase Pro? Did you get 6 or 12 months extended support? You can go to the LW Support page & enter your email address. Link at top of page: http://www.limewire.com/support/ I usually recommend pro users bookmark their personal download page. If pro support was nearing an end, you'd receive emails from them warning you. |
