downloaded files are in wrong platform for OSX I'm getting really peed off with this. I've spent ages downloading files for OSX and they even have OSX in the file names. Then when I unzip the files they are EXE files - for Windows and DO NOT work on OSX :mad2: |
Trickery. Make sure the files are more like the appropriate size. Some people put fake files out there ... viruses etc. to prevent copyright file sharing. BTW also try searching .dmg & see what you come up with. :) Unfortunately .sit is rarely used nowadays which helped keep mac & windows identification clearer. Torrents is one of the better ways to obtain what you are seeking. :) Send me a personal message & I will see if I can assist. :) |
