![]() have tried emailing tech support and email comes back undeliverable. I also tried the link where it shows that I have been blocked. I purchased LimeWire Pro over two weeks ago and still can't get in. I recently purchased a new Mac and just can't get my LimeWire to open. Please email me at *email address removed* with any help. Or of course on here. Thanks Jeff ________________________________________ Edited to comply with the House Rules. Do not divulge anyone's personal information in the forum, not even your own. ![]() Just transfer the installer across to the new computer. So many ways to do that ... network them, burn to disk, via external disk, portable disk, send via a host site, etc. If you purchased Pro from the 'Official' site, then you will see your url personal download page link from (a) the email they sent you, (b) from your invoice. See below image in my first post here in the asterix: Upgrading to V 4.18 (click on link) BTW I find best solution to LW installation problems on OSX is re-install the system. A fresh install, deleting previous system (not archive install!) so.. if you try that, back up your files first. ![]() |

![]() LW seems to have problems saving to an external drive for some reason. I guess it depends whether it is permanently connected & what type of drive. But that should not affect LW opening. I have same problem. I cannot run LW 4.18 on my main account. So I installed OSX on a different drive, LW 4.18 runs fine on there. ![]() |

![]() I deleted from the external and just saved it to my Mac, and it's working. Mac support said that I can just save to my Mac, and then I have it automatically back up everything after an hour. Then I can delete from the Mac and just keep it on the external hard drive, does that sound right? Thanks for your help Jeff |

![]() Oh you were running the application from the external drive. I used to do that with iTunes with my iTunes on an external drive (as well as the library). Yes, if it works ok then sounds good. ![]() |
