Confused Limewire 4.18 Can't shut off upload on torrent

I set my max and min uploads for torrents to "0", but noticed later that Limewire had been and still was uploading anyway.

I immediately killed the download and quit Limewire. I don't like software that does things without my knowledge or permission. Anybody else having he same problem? Is there anyway to run Limewire torrents and shut down the upload pipe?

LW automatically sets the fair share ratio for torrents (to avoid leechers).

So, no. Try using a different program if you want to leech torrents.
