![]() Hi, I hope Lord of the rings is around!!! The thing is I bought the Lime Wire Pro download because it said: ALL PLATFORMS, but it didn't specify that it would only work with Mac OS X Leopard and I have Mac OS X Tiger (10.4.11)!!! I didn't even download the program!!! I already contacted LM and I'm waiting for a reply. I read that there are NO refunds!!! Why would I buy something I won't be able to use ![]() Lord of the Rings, could you help me out??? I have Lime Wire Basic: 4.18.8. thanks in advance! Claudia Mexico |

![]() You can still use LW 4.18.8 Pro on your system. But you can try sending a PM to limenathan (click on link). I'd think it might be doubtful however for a couple reasons. One is it would cost them to cancel the transaction. Secondly, it's against their normal procedures. LW 5 is not only limited to OSX 10. 5 or later, but also limited to 64-bit intel machines. I guess that's one point you can also add in your support that there was no notification that LW 5 was limited to intel machines & to Leopard OSX. |

![]() Yes, go to your personal pro download page (which I'm sure you bookmarked right?), & download the windows version. ![]() |

![]() I did the same thing. I operate on OS X Tiger and purchased LW Pro and realized later that it required Leopard 10.5... then Java 1.6... then it would work. Is LW and Mac in on this together? haha. So, I tried downloading the "classic" version. It wouldn't even open. So, I got LW 4.12 from a friend and it will load but will not connect. I had LW before and never had a problem, this sux. What can I do? Is there another file share program for Mac OS X other than LW? I'm very frustrated. Please "Lord of the Lime Wire" help a kitty out. |

![]() 4.18.8 is the one you need which is listed on top of OSX options above 4.12 ![]() ![]() ![]() . |

![]() Thanks for the quickie response, however I've already tried the 4.18 version and it was the one that wouldn't even load and I've already reconfigured my firewall parameters as instructed on the forum you mentioned. I'm lost for further options. This kitty is desperate for some tunes. |
