Default Most MP3 downloads will not open

Hello All,

I'm new to forums - full stop - so sorry for any mistakes.
iMac G4 800 MHz - OS X 10.4.11
Just bought Acquisition Pro

I bought Acquisition as I recently downloaded Limewire (Free) to find that most of the downloads refuse to open. They appear on the HD but Preview can not see them nor iTunes. The downloaded files do open iTunes but the MP3 file is not visible. I'd be grateful for a tip. Thanks .. Setay

Most likely not true mp3 files. Most likely fake files ... and possibly viruses; Virus thread: Typical virus spam file sizes - Make a note of them (click on blue link to see). Try playing such files with Vox player & chances are they will not open, yet Vox player can play a massive wide range of audio types of files. Where to find Vox player? Search Vox on the forums or try the Stickies for alternate audio players. (the search function was put onto the forums for a reason lol)

Many files are infected. Delete them and block their host. I use Avast! Antivirus and it puts up a warning whenever I download an infected file.
So far I have not been able to find the classic: The Rumble by Lynk Wray. They are all infected (probably from the same source) Do yourself and others the favor to delete these infected files from your shared directory.
