![]() I keep trying to search anything audio and video and nothing comes up. I get the same two results every time. I have 4-5 bars and still nothing comes up except for those two results. For example, searched single ladies by beyonce, the results i get are: single ladies beyonce (256k 44800), mp3, 3462 KB and single ladies beyonce (192k 44100 stero), snd, 4969 I have tried uninstlling limewire and then reinstalling it, but that dosn't work. I also have tired to disconnect then wait a bit then reconnect. Nothing...This is very frustrating. Can anyone help me? ![]() First of all, try disabling OOB (out of band) searching. If you're using LW 4 go to tools > options > speed. Untick the box next to 'Enable OOB Searching' > apply > ok. Restart LW. If you're using LW 5, go to tools > options > advanced > super really advanced > performance to disable this option. Restart LW. Which version of LW are you using? You can also try changing ultrapeers that you're connected to. Ultrapeers are hosts that you conect to, to help you with your searches. If you're connected to bad UPs then you may see spam results. Try the tips here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/263723-post2.html |

![]() Ahh sorry - I didn't realise that you were using a Mac ![]() You could try installing this hostiles list: Hostiles List The first post in that thread has info about where to install the list for Mac users. Shut down LW, make sure that it's completely closed, install the hostiles list & then restart LW - see whether that helps. |
