Eek Leopard, but not Intel.(is 4.18.8 the last version for me till I get an Intel Mac?)

Have I finally come to the end of the road for using LimewirePro upgrades? It's going to be awhile before I spend any more money on a new Mac. My G5/2.0ghz/dual/3gigRAM does pretty good for now. But is 4.18.8 the last version for me till I get an Intel Mac?

Thumbs down This Stinks!

I'm in the same boat with a Powerbook G4 PPC Mac running 10.5.6. I paid for the "Pro" version of LW a few months back and now won't be able to get any further updates bcos they don't want to make v5 for PPC Macs??

Oh, and the kicker: I'd settle for 4.18...IF IT STILL WORKED (but that's for another thread)

Yes, this is a crappy deal. But I won't have to pay anymore for the service. I didn't seem to see much of a differewnce in the Pro version and the free version anyway.

There's not much difference between Pro and Free (and LW is not a 'service').

If Apple would release Java 1.6 for PPC macs, then LW 5 would work, so I'll continue using 4.18.8 Pro until I upgrade my machine or Apple releases 1.6.

I'm not waiting for Apple

Hi All,
I have the same problem with the added annoyance that I had alreay installed LM 5. So now I'm Limewireless on my G5.
How can I get a copy of 10.4 to downgrade again?
There doesn't seem to be an option in their website.
This is a major kick in the nuts to Mac Users!

Cheesy

Oops! I just realized I typed 10.4 inestead of Limewire 4.
Sorry about that.
What I'm trying to do is go back to LW 4 so I can keep using it on my Mac G5.

Thanks!
