![]() I'm in the same boat with a Powerbook G4 PPC Mac running 10.5.6. I paid for the "Pro" version of LW a few months back and now won't be able to get any further updates bcos they don't want to make v5 for PPC Macs?? Oh, and the kicker: I'd settle for 4.18...IF IT STILL WORKED ![]() |

![]() Yes, this is a crappy deal. But I won't have to pay anymore for the service. I didn't seem to see much of a differewnce in the Pro version and the free version anyway. jr ![]() |

![]() There's not much difference between Pro and Free (and LW is not a 'service'). If Apple would release Java 1.6 for PPC macs, then LW 5 would work, so I'll continue using 4.18.8 Pro until I upgrade my machine or Apple releases 1.6. I'm not waiting for Apple ![]() |
