Limewire 5

Is limewire 5 specifically for the new mac 64 bit. Is there any advantage to use version 5 with a 32 bit mac?

It won't run on a 32 bit mac. ;) Needs to be intel machine & have Java 1.6. If you do not see Java 1.6 in Java preferences, then your computer is not compatible; Setting up Java for Leopard. Besides, LW 5 at this stage is not really the complete program LW 4 was; they have left out many tools from LW 4. Perhaps by end of year they will have re-introduced most of the missing tools.

Check here Downgrading to LimeWire 4 from 5 & resuming incomplete downloads :) However you obviously will not need to worry about the points after no. #1 in that link. .. see the link next to no. 1 :)
