I am trying to add blocklist protection to my current version of Limewire Pro 4.8.1 (see my sig for all details of my computer system and network set-up. Please read all details at link in my sig).

I am on an older version of Mac OS X, 10.2.8. I looked at PeerGuardian, but you have to have 10.4.9 to run it.

Is there a source for plain text blocklist(s) that I could copy/paste into Limewire/Preferences/Filters/Hosts/Filter Hosts/ by hand? I need to protect myself from viruses/malware and also cut down on spam. Almost all of my results are spam these days, and I don't trust the sources to whom I am connecting.

The options I have explored so far are:

1. PhoenixLabs' PeerGuardian (requires 10.4.9 to run it; I am not upgrading my OS for various reasons);

2. Looked at Bluetack B.I.S.S. Forums at their Blocklist Manager, but it appears to work in conjunction with software programs like PeerGuardian;

3. Looked at their related BlocklistPro website. I could not easily ascertain Mac versions of their blocklist downloads, and was not sure if they only work within compatible software programs or if they can be used as stand-alone, plain text blocklists.

I am looking for plain text versions of blocklists, such as the ones described on this page: IP Blocking & Blocklists | THE source for BitTorrent & P2P Tips, Tricks and Info. | FileShareFreak Ideally, I would like the equivalents of:

1. The P2P.php list within the PG 2 program (installed automatically with PeerGuardian).
2. The Bluetack P2P Level 1 list.
3. The Bluetack BOGON list.
