Help me! I can't change the limewire's preferences because there isn't the bottom!!!!
 

Hallo at all!
I'm very said for my bad english (I'm Italian) but I have a big really problem:

when I go in the preference's windows (form limewire 5.2.8. Pro)
I can change the preference but there isn't the bottom for save!

In fact, the bottom that I see are two: help and cancel.
The cancel bottm are incomplete! :confused: :confused:

If I close the preference's windows, the preference aren't change.

I need change the preference in search area for dowloading software!

(Hey, my limewire is correct and I paid for version PRO)

Please, help me!!

If you cannot drag the bottom or side of the window or the bottom corner outward, then close LW. Delete the LW main preferences folder: Deleting LW Preferences folder in OSX

Remove the downloads.dat file before you delete the preferences folder! After you open LW, you will be asked about set up questions again. After answering those questions, go to the preferences options ⌘ , & see if the problem is fixed with the window. After you close LW, return the downloads.dat file back into the new preferences folder replacing any newer one. This must only be done whilst LW is closed.

If this does not help, post back and tell us. :)

I tried again 4 more times.

When I'm in the other panels, the "OK" button are there.

When I go to the Search panel, the window again as before!!!


It seems a joke.


And the window remains as before (without "OK" bottom and with "Cancel" bottom incomplete).

Unfortunately, the window can not drag and zoom in any way.

If you still have Pro support, have you tried upgrading to LW 5.2.13 Pro?

I experienced identical problem with LW 5.0 on OSX; exact same thing happens with same options.

LW 5.3 beta will fix this issue. You can find a link to the Beta version on your personal pro download page. :) LW 5,3 beta riparerà questa edizione.
