Eek Limewire no longer works on my Mac

I was using Limewire today and it worked just fine, shut my comp down and went to work, I came home and started using Limewire again and it worked but then all of a sudden it froze and I had to force quit, I then tried to reopen the program with no luck and then I checked to make sure I had the updated version{which I do} but I reinstalled anyways. It still does not work. Has anyone had this issue before?

1. Try deleting LW's preferences folder; Deleting LW Preferences folder in OSX

2. Do a safe boot & repair permissions; SAFE Boot & Repair Permissions
