OS X installer quits

I have tried to install limewire for OS X on my Mac, but every time I run the installer it just quits without doing anything. I have downloaded it from different locations with the same result. My system is running OS 10.1.3 with the latest java update.

Any solutions?

I have exactly the same problem and with the same features concerning the OS, and not a clue how to solve it. The latest installer didn't make any difference.

I think it has to do with firewalls. If you're behind a firewall it won't install.

I too have tried to install on 10.0.4 and nothing happens. And I'm not behind a firewall. Come on Limewire developpers we need a solution to this. Anyone else has any ideas why the installer doesn't work ?
