LimeWire Pro doesn't quit

Hi.

I run LimeWire Pro 2.24. Everything else is ok but quitting.
LimeWire doesn't respond "Quit" command. I have to
force quit when I want to quit LimeWire.

I run LimeWire with: G4 PowerBook 667MHz,512Mb RAM, OS 10.1.3 (US),

before you quit lime wire you have to make sure your not downloading anything and that nobody is uploading anything from you. you can check to see if anybody is uploading off of you by clicking the monitor tab and ckecking the upload area for any uploads.

It DOESN't quit, also when i'm not uploading
(How can I stop downloads without killing them?)
When i choose quit it collapses on the dock... i have to force quit everytime

LimeWire doesn't quit

Lime Wire Pro version 2.3.2 for OS X (and also the previous version before that) won't quit and just sits in the dock (G4/933/OS X 10.1.3/1.2 GB Ram).

I have to force quit LimeWire each time to restart, shutdown, or to even use my printer (Epson Stylus Color 900 with the most current OS X drivers). After I force quit, then I can restart, or print. Is this a bug? I see that others are having the force quit problem. Does anyone else have this printer problem?

Also, it would be great if there were a pause function for downloading.
Other than that, LimeWire is great.

Thanks.

Matt

Force Quitting LimeWire

I also have to force quit LimeWire every time I want to shut down my powerbook G4/667/512 OS X.

Does anyone have problems with their Mac booting up in OS 9 after force quitting LimeWire during shut down?

Same Here.

I also experience the same issue. LW 2.3.1 will only quit when I force-quit it through OS X. I was able to get around this by selecting "Force Quit" Under Preferences : Shutdown (though it appears to not work occasionally).

I have also noticed a discrepency with the help FAQ and the 2.3.1 LW version where the media player is NOT in the tools menu. There are also some issues with window redraws. When is the next scheduled release - I heard of someone mentioning 2.3.2, but I just downloaded this program last week. is 2.3.2 really out and does it fix some of the latter issues mentioned?

Cheers

Chalk up another

All,
I also have to force-quit LW the majority of the time. Last night, using cmd-Q on LW froze my entire system. I had to power off in order to restart. Has anyone here encountered that particular situation?

everyone:

go into LimeWire Preferences and click on Shutdown in the left column. make sure Shutdown Immediately is chosen, so that LimeWire exits completely when you want it to, and your preferences will be saved.
