![]() Hello, I've been using Limewire for ages, and yeah, I know what a firewall is or how it should be configured. I never had problems with limewire under Mac (10.5.8) or Windows or with any router I've used so far. However, Limewire suddenly is reluctant to build up a connection which has worked the last day I've used it, and I didn't change anything in the properties. So I downloaded the latest version again, manually changed the connection properties, forwarded a different port, switched PeerGuardian off, switched it on again - nothing. I've no clue what to change to make it work again. Gz |

![]() Which version(s) of LW are you running? Perhaps start here: System details - help us to help you (click on blue link) ![]() |

![]() Like I said, I'm running the latest version of LW for Mac. I guess that should be 5.5.13 And well, off course I could post details like the ram of my MacBook, but I highly doubt that'll help. ![]() My "firewall" is LittleSnitch as it always was, yes Limewire is allowed in there. My provider is a german provider and definately not blocking me since he isn't allowed to do so. And just like I said - everything is configured the way it always worked. Except that the configuration status in Limewire keeps telling me that the connection is building up right now and never finishes. |
