speed of downloads
 

hi!
ive just bought myself a new g4 imac and downloaded limewire it works fine apart from the fact that my internet connection isnt the fastest? i dont know why especially when its a g4 and when i try to down load the mp3s in limewire they take ages im pretty sure that they should be downloading quicker it takes about 20min at least for a song! if someone could help that would be great thanks!

get a DSL or Cable connection, then maybe your downloads will be faster.

You could have a 5GHz triple processor G7 machine, with 200 GB of ram, and a wildcat graphics card... but if you only have a modem connection, you only get 5.3kb/s bandwidth.

you idiot, you don't deserve your G4, you probably have AOL too.
